absolutely loved how 'cozy' the room was, although it took forever to heat up—25 hours is quite excessive! while I enjoyed the pub atmosphere, having to navigate a village for parking woudl ve been better handled by the staff. really expected a warm welcome gesture, but I guess that's too much to ask for.

the fox & hounds has a fantastic location, just a short stroll to what many call the best beer garden in the world. the breakfast was a real treat with fresh food options that really stood out. overall, it's a cozy place to unwind, and the inviting atmosphere certainly adds to the charm.

The warm and cozy atmosphere really stood out during my stay. The friendly and helpful staff made me feel welcome right away. Dinner was a delight with an extensive food menu, and the homemade dishes were well-prepared and reasonably priced. The inviting bar area, complete with a charming open fire, made for a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

The room felt a bit dated and lacked some modern charm, which was a slight letdown.

Spent two nights here, and I tell you, the atmosphere was spot on! The view from me room was lush, and brekkie was a proper feast. Just a shame me bed wasn’t a kingsize, but can't have it all, right?
